As I promised earlier in the week, here are the square cut swimwear that I won from my speedo drawer.
Red AussieBum, I like the lycra on these but they kinda feel like a bit of a wedgie in the bum. No drawstring, but the super wide waistband means they won’t come down in the surf.
Black Nike shorts, not lycra but a nice light material. Unfortunately, these bunch up in the crotch for me so I don’t wear them much at all. I’d love to wear them as underwear but that bunching….
Blue Intymen square cuts from my good mates at Mensuas.com – I actually asked the guys for a square cut and this is what they recommended. I actually like these the most, the lycra is thick and good quality, unfortunately, the sizing is super small and I can’t really wear these, at least not in public, I’m showing off a huge plumbers crack. I’m going to try and get them 2 sizes bigger and I think they will be perfect.
Blue AussieBum’s are my most recent addition, I think they are called Old School. They are a really nice fit, I went a larger size because AussieBum just seems to get smaller and smaller (maybe I’m getting fatter and fatter). These are lycra, feel great, don’t bunch up too much.
Of course, I much prefer speedos and don’t think I’d really wear any of these at the pool. But, my theory is that maybe I can wear these to the beach with my mates and it will be more acceptable than speedos? I dunno?
If you are interested in any of these speedos – leave a comment, I might be interested in putting them up on eBay if anyone is interested.
I just spoke to Kip on Skype (we pretty much talk every day even with the time difference) and he was super excited to receive some new speedos, square cuts and jockstrap from the guys over at Mensuas.com. The US based recipients of the recent promotion (16 of them) will have received their new Daddy underwear in the post over the last day or so.
These will be a nice addition to our hottub attire when I get over to Colorado just after New Years. Yes, I have booked my flight, it is horrible, it leaves on New Years Eve but I suppose that is why it was so cheap. I wonder if there will be a party on the plane?
This swimsuit (pictured below) really turn me on. To be honest, I’ve only ever seen one worn in the flesh at Kip’s place in Breckenridge years ago. The chick wearing it was kinda hot but had zero personality and Kip (and even his sister) had nicknamed the chick “downs” – as in down-syndrome which is kinda horrible. A family I grew up with had the eldest son (my age) had severe down-syndrome and Andrew was part of growing up.
I would love to see more girls, with cuter nicknames wearing these kind of swimsuits.
Ow, so where I started this blog post was me saying that I didn’t know that it was called a ‘monokini’. But after doing some research…. I’m not sure if this definition is correct.
A topless bikini.
And further reading:
The monokini, designed by Rudi Gernreich in 1964, consisting of only a brief, close-fitting bottom and two thin straps, was the first women’s topless swimsuit. His revolutionary and controversial design included a bottom that “extended from the midriff to the upper thigh” and was “held up by shoestring laces that make a halter around the neck.” Some attribute Gernreich’s design to initiating or as a symbol of the sexual revolution.
