With me having lived in different towns in New Zealand and Canada over the last few years I don’t have that depth of friends that I have back in my hometown. Sometimes it is hard to meet people and it is something I put a fair bit of effort into.
I’ve been setup on blind dates a few times which I think is kind of nice.
My buddies here on the Central Coast don’t seem to have many single girls floating about. Most of my close circle of friends are now married or in long term relationships and the girls don’t seem to hang out with many girls outside the ‘circle of trust’ hahaha.
But, today I got a call from one of my mates wifes setting me up with an old friend of hers who just moved to the coast from Sydney. Tomorrow I’m going to have lunch with her so fingers crossed.
